Sean McColl is one of two Canadian climbers who will be heading to the Olympics in 2021, along with Alannah Yip. In this video, he teaches us about pro-level footwork.
A lot about footwork in climbing is problem-solving. One common mistake climbers make is that they don’t pay attention to how they place their feet and only pay attention to their arms.
The footwork is super existential because the legs are much stronger than your arms, and the way you position your feet is therefore incredibly important.
