MacLeod Injured in Climbing Accident

Dave MacLeod has injured his leg after being dropped while lowering from a new route.

Dave MacLeod has injured his leg after being dropped while lowering from a new route.  It seems that MacLeod was using another climber’s rope that was too short to reach the ground. During the fall MacLeod clipped a ledge with his foot which likely resulted in his injury.

This accident highlights the importance of tying a knot in the end of the rope before lowering a climber.
