Watch Nina Williams Talk About the Fear of Falling

The top climber has repeated some of the world's most famous highballs

Fear of failing is something we all experience. Instead of resisting the inevitable, what might happen if we willingly let go and jump into our fear? Pro climber Nina Williams tells her story of letting go, falling, and how seeing things from a different perspective helped her move forward and try again.

Williams is best known for her highballs, although she enjoys a variety of challenges in bouldering, sport, traditional and big wall. She works with outdoor athletes and teams as a certified development coach with a special interest in mindset communication.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
