The DMM Pivot Belay Device
DMM has always led the way in climbing equipment with innovative ideas. Their latest design is the Pivot belay device.
A simple “guide mode” belay device that integrates a hinge into the pivot, DMM has made it possible to lower a following climber safely and more easily than with other belay devices.
On our test run, it took only a little practice to the system dialed and it eliminated any backup prusiks we would have needed. This light belay device is effective and simple, which is how we all like our gear. Highly recommended.
