Yesterday 8a.nu reported that Germany’s sport climbing prodigy Alex Megos climbed Markus Bock’s Frankenjura testpiece. It took ten attempts over three days spread over six months.
Frankenjura expert Bock considers it the most difficult climb in Frankenjura. It was first climbed in 2006 and repeated in 2009 by Czech Adam Ondra. Two months ago Megos made the first ever onsight of a 9a, with his ascent of Estato Critico.
