Red Rock Rendezvous Runs First Weekend in April 2016

The big festival is one of the largest of its kind in the world.

This is the 13th annual Red Rock Rendezvous and will once again be held at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area near Las Vegas.

Set in one of the most beautiful climbing areas in the world, the festival is unlike any other in the country, offering clinics with world-class athletes and the nation’s top guides. Climbers of all skill levels will learn in safe and encouraging clinics. The Red Rock escarpment offers an estimated 1,700 routes.

It will be taking place from Fri., April 1 to Sun., April 3 and will be based at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, located 10 minutes from the entrance to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

Event proceeds will go to help the Access Fund, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping climbing areas open and conserving the climbing environment.

Additional funds will also go to the American Safe Climbing Association, the American Alpine Club, Friends of Red Rock Canyon and the Las Vegas Climbers Liaison Council. For more info see here.
