IFSC World Cup 2016: Canadians Heading to Chongqing

BroughtToYouByPetzl_790-gradient

Chongqing has attracted elite international talent in the Boulder and Speed disciplines since its first World Cup in 2012. The third World Cup of 2016 promises to be a great event.

Four Canadians have registered, including Sean McColl, Alannah Yip, Kin Wah Lai and Elan Jonas-McRae. McColl and Yip have advanced to Semis in both of the World Cups this year, but no Canadian has reached finals.

McColl is the only Canadian competing in Speed at this World Cup. For more info on the event visit here. Yip will be taking over the Climb Canada Instagram account while in China so be sure to check it below.
