Sasha DiGiulian Tells Stormy Story About Dolomites

Sasha DiGiulian is one of the world’s leading climbers and recently took part in Adidas’s “This is Not Happening!” series.

In 2013, DiGiulian made the first female ascent of Bella Vista, a multi-pitch 5.14b on Cima Ovest in the Italian Dolomites.

The route was first climbed in 1999 by Alex Huber as an aid route. He returned a few years later and freed every pitch. It has five pitches of 5.12 or harder. The route has seen a number of repeats.
