Watch Eric Sethna and Pia Graham Win Quebec Psicobloc Competition

One of the first climbing gyms in Quebec was called La Montagne en Ville Roc Gyms opened in 1993. Now there are dozens of gyms throughout the province with nearly 100,000 people who go to them over the year. Last year, Chew Pod Extreme Bloc organized a psicobloc competition at Centre National d’Entraînement Acrobatique Yves La Roche in Lac-Beauport at the base of the ski resort Le Relais, about 10 minutes north of Quebec City.

The competition ran over Canada Day Weekend and had 30 male and 19 female competitors. After three days of climbing, Eric Sethna won for the males with Seb Lazure coming in a close second, and Pia Graham won for the females with Sophie Buitendyk finishing close behind.
