New Colorado V14 Gets Three Quick Ascents

Paul Robinson is continuing his send train with the first ascent of La Plancha in the Flatirons close to Boulder.

Chad Greedy and Isabelle Faus cleaned the hard line and Robinson made the first ascent last week.

Daniel Woods and Matt Fultz soon repeated and confirmed the grade at V14.

La Plancha means “the iron” and is a play on the famous boulder problem Bügeleisen, which means iron in German, which Robinson climbed two months ago.

“It is so rad to see new lines in a state where we already have so many incredible established lines,” said Paul Robinson about La Plancha.
