Old Rockies Stoneworks Crag 5.10s Retrofitted
The Stoneworks Crag in the Canadian Rockies has a number of steep limestone walls with old bolted climbs.
The bolts were rusty and not up to today’s standards, so Calgary climber Kelly Drager and friends brought the new hardware and the drills to fix the crag up.
Now the Arcade Wall is rigged for multiple climbers to enjoy with the addition of protection bolts and an anchor for each climb.
There’s even a two-pitch 5.10a called Basic Black out to the right.
1. The Sentinel 5.10a, 7 bolts + anchor
2. Superstition 5.10c, 8 bolts + anchor
3. The Tempest 5.10b, 7 bolts + anchor
4. Robotron 5.11b, 8 bolts + anchor
5. Black Magic 5.11a, 7 bolts + anchor
6. Shadowland 5.10b, 6 bolts + anchor
7. Serenade 5.10b, 7 bolts + anchor
