Watch Sonnie Trotter Climb Above Howe Sound in Squamish

Squamish is one of Canada’s most popular rock climbing areas, with thousands journeying their every year to climb the slabs, cracks and boulders.

Far from the crowds, there are many climbs established above the Howe Sound that accessible by boat. Over the past few years, a small group has established a number of routes.

In 2015, Gripped editor Brandon Pullan joined Sonnie Trotter, Gaby James and skipper Chris Weldon for a February afternoon climbing short granite routes above Weldon’s boat, Sea Flea.
