Watch 1998 Rock Climb First Ascent of Tsaranoro

Watch the first ascent of the big rock climb Never the same – Mai più così back in 1998 by Rolando Larcher, Marco Sterni and Erik Svab.

This was the first ascent of the now-popular free-climbing wall that has a number of hard routes. This peak had never been climbed before and they it Tsaranoro Atsimo (south), after consulting the locals.

This is the original film documenting the ascent, the route was freed in 2015 by Andrea Polo, Gabriele Gorobey and Carlo Giuliberti.
