Watch as top sport climber Dan Beland gets a send of Zombie Roof 5.12d/13a trad in Squamish. The first ascent of the steep roof crack was by Peter Croft.
Found at the Smoke Bluffs, the roof crack has a number of hard cruxes. Nearly 40 years after the first ascent, the hard finger-locks remain a sort of rite of passage for all the strongest crack climbers. In 2012, Will Stanhope free-soloed Zombie Roof.
