Retired Top Comp Climbers Visit Yosemite Walls

Switch from the world of competitions to climbing outdoor is not always easy, but for sure it represents a big challenge for every climber. Follow Jorg Verhoeven and Katharina Saurwein in their first official climbing trip after their retirement from competition.

They also visited Squamish and attempted Dreamcatcher 5.14d and said they’ll be returning to Canada’s west coast in the near future.

One last route in this year's Yosemite classics: 'Fish Crack' (5.12-). Climbed in 1975 by H. Barber. Apparently a contender for the world's first 5.12 and climbed on only nuts and hexes!
