Watch Funny Cartoon on Mountain Rescue

Two mountain rescuers bumble their way through a rescue high on a mountain

After 46 awards in festivals (including a BAFTA for best student film) and more than 150 selections, this short film is available to watch online for the next month.

Directed by Leo Brunel, Loris Cavalier, Camille Jalabert and Oscar Malet, with original music by Nicolas Peiron, the cartoon focuses on two clumsy search and rescue climbers presumably in the Alps.

After reaching their victim, a series of events follows that would be catastrophic in real life but come across as hilarious. With nearly 500,000 views by mid-November, it seems cartoons and mountain rescues might be a winning combo.
