Watch Iker Pou Send Guggen-Hell 5.15a/b, Hardest in Mallorca

Watch the first ascent that includes tiny pockets and knobs along a giant roof

Basque climber Iker Pou, 44, made the first ascent of Guggen-Hell, which is the hardest climb on the island of Mallorca at 5.15a/b. The new route climbs a 50-metre overhanging cave line that links powerful pocket moves with endurance sections.

In 2015, Iker made the first ascent of Big Men, which was Mallorca’s hardest sport route to date. Both routes are unrepeated. Be sure to follow Iker and his brother Eneko on Instagram below.
