Watch Dexter Bateman Send 5.13b in Skaha
It's one of the more challenging routes on the famous Okanagan crag
Great White Onion is one of the harder routes on the Great White Wall in Skaha. It’s been getting climbed for over two decades, but redpoints of the technical line are still far and few between.
It has a bouldery start that leads to a rest and is followed by sustained technical climbing up the head wall. Bateman said, “Last day, last try. Dream route. Took long, but I guess that’s what I get for doing absolutely nothing during lock down.”
