New Climber Martina Demmel Sends 5.14d in Four Years
The strong German made quick work of a often-tried 5.14d in Spain earlier this year
At the age of 15 Martina Demmel was a ski racer and training for her regional team. A chance visit to a climbing gym would propel her life into a very different direction.
In April 2021, the strong German sent her first 5.14d with Joe-cita at Oliana, Spain, a few days after onsighting 5.14a at the same crag.
