In 2021, top Italian climber Stefano Ghisolfi won a lead world cup and climbed Bibliographie 5.15+, at the time one of the world’s two possible 5.15d rock climbing routes. He later downgraded it from 5.15d to 5.15c.
He is part of the generation of climbers who found their footing in climbing gyms before transitioning to real rock and is regarded as one of the best sport climbers in the world.
