Austria to Host a Wicked 1980s Climbing Festival

Don’t forget your lycra for the 1980s-themed climbing festival will be called King of Kanzi and will be held in Kanzianiberg, Austria.

During the first weekend of June, the festival will take place with guests including Steve House, Jacopo Larcher, Lorriane Huber, Markus Pucher and many more.

The festival will start with a presentation about an ascent up Makalu by Nives Meroi and Romano Benet. The weekend will feature courses, a climbing marathon, workshops, a highline and a screening of Meganoia.

The event will wrap up on June 5 with a 25th anniversary party dedicated to IG-Sportklettern Kärntern and their revolutionary bolting techniques. For more information visit here and visit the Facebook page here.
