Canada’s Best East Coast Bouldering Festival is Back
Boulderfest will be taking place on Dover Island at the end of July

Climb Nova Scotia has also announced that Boulderfest 2022 will be taking place on July 30 and 31. The long-running event is currently looking for volunteers.
Boulderfest is the annual climber’s gathering on Dover Island, and before 2020 would sell out every year. While there are other good areas, none offer the concentration of quality boulders and breathtaking scenery found on Dover Island. The area is home to over 100 problems ranging from V0 to V10.
The island is virtually uninhabited, but for the 50 or more endangered species. Boulderfest, which started 20 years ago, is an amazing weekend of bouldering, events and sea-side fun.
