Muller and Melius Win Rock the Blocs 2017 in Kelowna

The 2017 Rock the Blocs bouldering festival took place in Kelowna over the weekend with nice weather and a lot of strong climbers.

With nearly 400 people arriving for the weekend event, climbers were treated to clinics, a comp and some good times.

Well that was a great day. Thanks to the whole Rock the Blocs crew for hosting such a great event. Damn, that was a weekend to remember. First time in the boulder fields, and managed to flash a couple classics like Driven Stand (V9 and my hardest flash?!) and Empire Strikes Back (V8). Went on to tick Apocrita (V9), Serenity Amidst Chaos (V9), The Guardian (V8), and so many other amazing boulders!! . ?: Jay showing the crew how it's done on Baby Cthulhu, arguably one of the coolest boulders in the fields, if not anywhere. . So grateful to everyone who's put time into this area and made this event happen, and as well to everyone who came out and threw down this weekend.
