The new-for-fall 2018 Mountain Hardwear Kor Strata Alpine Hoody is a new down jacket for mountain users this season.
It’s packed with synthetic insulation but lacks baffles, which means less heat loss and more packable.
Mountain Hardwear uses stretchier insulation in key areas to increase mobility and to improve freedom of movement.
It uses weather-resistant 15D nylon ripstop with breathable stretch nylon ripstop. It has two secure zippered hand warmer pockets and double chest secure zippered pockets.
The articulated fit sports seamless under arm gussets, which will be great for steep ice and snow.
From Mountain Hardwear: “Tailormade for the backcountry, the Kor Strata Hoody Jacket is a highly breathable combination of Primaloft® Gold Active and Primaloft® Gold insulation, providing targeted stretch and warmth.”
