The G7 Pod is a lightweight and comfortable 1.5 kilogram four-season insulated inflatable ledge that replaces the traditional 7.5 kilogram single-frame portaledge.

The G7 Pod is hard to pop, but if you do apply the Type A patch on it without cleaning, as the alcohol patch it comes with doesn’t dry quickly, even if it looks dry, and can ruin your only patch. The ledge is squishy when you step on it, but if you get used to it, it’s the best ledge you can get. It’s not too expensive at $875, but that’s for only one where as you can get a double for about that price.
