Watch Adam Ondra Visit Vail for Boulder World Cup 2019

The last bouldering World Cup took place back in May and was one of the best comps of the year. Adam Ondra was competing with Tomoa Narasaki for the overall title in the bouldering season.

Unlike Ondra’s other videos, there’s no competition footage used in this due to potential licensing issues with the IFSC. Still a great video!

Yesterday it did not work the way I was dreaming about. I was not only fighting for the good result in the last bouldering World cup of the year, but also for the overall World cup title. I failed. No matter how disappointing it is, there are too many reasons to smile. 2nd place in the overall bouldering World Cup and 5th place yesterday in Vail. Big congrats goes to @tomoa_narasaki for overall title, @ogata.yoshiyuki for his first world cup victory and @janja_garnbret for phenomenal clean sweep of World cup 2019 – 6 victories in a row.
