Alex Honnold is currently touring around the U.K. and yesterday stopped by Ireland’s Fair Head to repeat a difficult route by soloing it. The line was first climbed in 2005 by Ricky Bell at a grade of 6b E8, which is hard.

The route is nearly 60 metres long and was onsighted in 2015 by Pete Whittaker, who protected the lower half with sky hooks. It has been described by Ben Heason as “one of the best routes of it’s type in Britain.” U.K. climber Martin McKenna was there to capture the ascent, be sure to head over and follow McKenna on Instagram for more great shots.
