James MacHaffie has bagged the second ascent of the The Big Bang 9a (5.14d). The route is located in the Lower Pen Trwyn area in North Wales and was first climbed by Neil Carson in a1996.
James MacHaffie has bagged the second ascent of the The Big Bang 9a (5.14d). The route is located in the Lower Pen Trwyn area in North Wales and was first climbed by Neil Carson in a1996. When it was first climbed, The Big Bang was the UK’s first 9a and one of a handful of climbs of this grade in world.
