BC Parks to Enforce Strict Parking Rules in Squamish

The announcement from BC Parks states they are implementing a parking enforcement policy at the Chief and Murrin parks. The climbing areas along the Sea-to-Sky corridor have experienced exceptional growth in visitor numbers, leading to parking problems.

“Public safety is paramount for BC Parks and new parking policies are being put in place to ensure safe access for all.” Starting on July 4, BC Parks will be towing cars illegally parked at all paved parking lots. Follow BC Park on Instagram here.
