Canada’s East Coast Gets a New Burly V9

Watch the first ascent of Nova Scotia's newest hard problem

Nova Scotia has dozens of quality granite boulders strewn around the province, and many of them still hold problems that have never been climbed.

In a new video released by MoBeta, David Quinn makes the first ascent of Inversions, a new V9 that he’d been projecting for some time. Watch his send below and take not of the mini shades to keep the sun off the rock. Previously, he’s released projecting videos that showed just him piecing the problem together.

Nova Scotia has several hard boulders at V9 or above, including Resurrection V9, Kleos V10, Carbosaurus V11, Grizzy V12, Kodiak V13 and Physical Graffiti V14. Be sure to subscribe to MoBeta on YouTube below and check out the MoBeta guidebook page to Nova Scotia bouldering here.
