The strong team of Jon Walsh and Josh Wharton bagged the second ascent of Infinite Patience VI 5.9 WI5 M5 2200m on the Emperor Face of Mount Robson in single 18 hour push from Berg Lake.

The strong team of Jon Walsh and Josh Wharton bagged the second ascent of Infinite Patience VI 5.9 WI5 M5 2200m on the Emperor Face of Mount Robson in single 18 hour push from Berg Lake.

The pair took a helicopter into Berg Lake, had a short open bivi and started climbing at 3:45 a.m. The team summited at 8:45 p.m and descended the mountain’s south side, eventually reaching the road about 40 hours after leaving the car.

Barry Blanchard, Eric Dumerac, and Philippe Pellet first climbed Infinite Patience in October 2002.
