Jakob Schubert Sends New V15 with La Force Tranquille Direct
The top climber is qualified for the Tokyo Olympics
Austrian climber Jakob Schubert has made the first ascent of La Force Tranquille Direct V15 at Magic Wood in Switzerland. Earlier this year, Schubert flashed Never Ending Story V14 at Magic Wood.
During his two day bouldering trip to Magic Wood, the 29-year-old world champion repeated La Force Tranquille, a V15 put up by Daniel Woods. He then climbed the “king line” in the forest with his dirct start.
The Olympic-qualified athlete has 21 World Cup wins to his name, with 18 being in Lead. He’s climbed 5.15c with Perfecto Mundo and had climbed at least one V15 in the past with Sierra Madre in Austria.
