Jan 2, 2012 – Kruk and Kennedy Enjoying The Gentleman’s Club

Canadian Jason Kruk and American Hayden Kennedy have teamed up for an impressive FA in Patagonia. Their new route The Gentleman’s Club 5.11d initially climbs the first 500m of easy slab on the route Thaw is not Houlding Wright. At this point the pair moved onto new terrain that involved seven long pitches up the steep headwall. From here, Kruk and Kennedy climbed easy terrain and one more long pitch to reach the summit. Both climbers feel the upper part of the route is similar to the Yosemite classic Astroman.  More details as they become available.
