Jorge Diaz-Rullo Climbs Bibliographie 5.15c
The technical line was first climbed by Alex Megos, this is the fourth repeat
Jorge Diaz-Rullo has made the fifth ascent of Bibliographie 5.15c in Céüse, France. The route was first climbed by Alex Megos in 2020 at 5.15d, but was downgraded by Stefano Ghisolfi. After Ghisolfi’s send, Sean Bailey and Sébastien Bouin repeated it.
Diaz-Rullo, who last week flashed Clin d’Å“il au paradis d’en face 5.14c, said, “I never stopped dreaming, up until the moment the dream came true. Once again, I learnt a valuable lesson. Never lose hope, because everything is possible. Be your best version, work very hard, stay focused, motivated and above all, have the patience and the moment will come. Everything is always easier when you have people supporting you along the way.”
Earlier this year, DÃaz-Rullo made the first ascent of his first-ever 5.15c, Mejorando la Samfaina, a link-up of Mejorando Imagen 5.15a/b and Samfaina 5.15a. He’s sent several 5.15b routes in the past, all of which were in Spain, including El Bon Combat and First Round First Minute, both Chris Sharma first ascents. He’s also bouldered up to V15.
