Laura Rogora Continues Send Train with The Bomb 5.14d

Earlier this year, Laura Rogora joined the 5.15 club with her repeat of Adam Ondra’s Pure Dreaming Plus at Massone in Arco, Italy. Rogora became the fifth woman, and first Italian woman, to climb a 5.15; joining crushers Margo Hayes (2017), Anak Verhoeven (2017), Angela Eiter (2017) and Julia Chanourdie (2020).

Olympic-qualified Rogora has now climbed The Bomb 9a in Collepardo, she’s been a send train since covid-19 lockdowns lifted in Europe. According to 8a.nu, the 19-year-old has sent 13 routes graded 5.14+ or harder. Rogora has also onsighted L-mens 5.14a at Montsant.

Rogora has made a name for herself as one of the top sport and comp climbers in the world. On top of her route sends, she’s a two-time World Youth Champion in bouldering and European Champion in lead.
