March 2, 2011 – The Philosophy Of Verve

In 1988, after coming home from a European climbing trip, Christian Griffith started Verve, now one the oldest climbing clothing companies still manufacturing products in North America. But unlike many similar companies of that time, Verve focused on rock climbing rather than alpine or mountaineering clothing. Griffith’s vision has created numerous unique and classic pieces and the line eventually also gained popularity with yoga participants. In the outdoor clothing industry, Verve stands out for continuing to produce small production runs of US-made clothing that perfectly blends function with a boutique-like fashion sense.
