March 28, 2011 – $5000 Attracts Strong Field to Tour de Bloc Eastern Regionals

This weekend, a $5000 cash purse attracted a strong field of climbers to the Coyote Rock Gym for the Tour de Bloc Eastern Regionals. The event drew 80 competitors in the men’s open category and over 30 in women’s who were tested on 75 problems.

Yves Gravelle took the win for men’s open, followed by Mark Buton and Sebastien Lazure. In women’s category, powerhouse Stacey Weldon dominated the field bagging another first place finish. Second place went to Eva Pepin Helie while Iyma Lamarche clinched third.
