Massive 5.14b Roof! Watch Send of a Classic Italian Big Wall
Watch Edu Marín climb Pan Aroma on Cima Ovest di Lavaredo back in July 2014 in this newly released footage
Back in the summer of 2014, Edu Marín spent several weeks projecting the 500-metre Pan Aroma on the north face of Cima Ovest di Lavaredo in the Italian Dolomites. The first ascent of the 5.14b was in 2007 by Alex Huber.
Marin partnered with his father Novato, who was 62 years old at the time. Marin had just quit competition climbing and wanted to focus on big mountain adventures. This was the third free ascent of Pan Aroma and the first of many big walls for Marin, including a recent repeat of Eternal Flame 5.13.
