Ontario Alliance of Climbers: Virtual Pandemic Discussion
The Ontario Alliance of Climbers will be virtually discussing the pandemic and Ontario climbing

As we enter another week of isolation, many climbers have questions as to what the future holds for outdoor access. The Ontario Alliance of Climbers (OAC) aims to address these issues and other pertinent questions in their first ever Virtual Town Hall.
The town hall is set to take place on Tues. April 28 at 7:00 p.m. This event is a unique opportunity for members of the Ontario climbing community to address crag access and what climbing in Ontario might look like going forward. Though the event is hosted by the OAC, the event may offer insights as to what outdoor climbing in Canada might look like in the coming months.
The OAC encourages participation and offers prospecting climbers an opportunity to register in advance for the town hall via their Facebook event page. Many of Ontario’s psyched outdoor climbers will be attending this unprecedented discussion. If you are unable to attend the event, but have questions you would like answered, you may submit them ahead of time. The OAC will post a summary following the town hall. Check out the event here.
