Six Years and 110 Sessions to Climb This V15
Jonny Kydd makes the second ascent of one of the U.K.'s hardest boulders
Jonny Kydd, a climber and coach at Lattice Training, spent six years and put in over 100 sessions to made the second ascent of The World is Yours, a V15 in Biblins Cave, U.K. The first ascent was in 2018 by James Squire.
According to Lattice, who released a film (watch below) about Kydd’s journey to send the cave route, “This journey pushed Jonny to his limit in many ways and this story follows his attempts to level up each year while battling UK weather conditions, alongside COVID restrictions and a bat ban during the prime seasons for climbing.”
Access to the cave is only allowed from May to September due to hibernating bats, be sure to always check access issues before heading to any new area.
