Stoked at Home: Jon Siegrist Sends New 5.15a

Jonathan Siegrist has spent his climbing life travelling the world, sending hard sport climbs and he has become one of the world’s best. In this film, he and filmmaker Nate Liles explore the reasons why he decided to spend so much of his time in Las Vegas.

He made the First Ascent Hundred Proof 5.15a in February 2020. The route is in the Potosi Cave in Nevada near Las Vegas.

I’ve been inching my way higher and higher on this monstrous route over the last 2 weeks, but the process really started over a month ago trying hard on its easier sibling ‘Smoke Wagon’. Yesterday I finally hung on for the ride and took this bastard to the chains! ‘One Hundred Proof’ 15a is one of the hardest routes I’ve climbed in quite a while. Just as I started to really stress the time pressure, it feels SO relieving to wrap this up.
