Friends and family gathered in July to celebrate Lama's life
In April, David Lama, Jess Roskelley and Hansjorg Auer died in an alpine climbing accident on Howse Peak. On July 19, 2019 more than 1,600 people gathered in memoriam of David Lama in front of his beloved home mountains, the Kalkkögel in Tirol, Austria.
Speeches by some of Lama’s closest friends and a sea of lights provided the perfect setting to make this day unforgettable for the whole community.
