Chris Sharma Joins Tenaya and His Hardest Sends

Chris Sharma has joined the Tenaya team for climbing shoes, a team with top climbers such as Alex Megos, Miho Nonako and Drew Ruana.
Sharma was born in Santa Cruz, California in 1981 and started climbing at 12 years old. He won the National Bouldering Championship at 14 and just a year later made the first ascent of Necessary Evil 5.14c, the first route of this grade in the U.S.A.
In 2001 he made the first ascent of the Ceuse (France) project, Biographie, renaming it Realization and thus establishing one of the world’s first 5.15a climbs.
