Shortlist for 2017 Boardman Tasker Award 2017
The 2017 Boardman Tasker Award for Mountain Literature shortlist was announced. Canadian author Bernadette McDonald’s book Art of Freedom is one of the final six.
There were 34 books entered from Italy, France, U.S.A, U.K. and Canada. Tommy Caldwell’s The Push is also among the six finalists.
The other four books are The Magician’s Glass by Ed Douglas, Days to Remember by Rob Collister, Among the Summer Snows by Chris Nicholson and Naked Night by Erhard Loretan and Jean Ammann.
The winner will be announced at the Boardman Tasker event at the Kendal Mountain Festival on Nov. 17. See here for more.
