Father and Son Team Up For One of World’s Hardest: Episode One

Edu Marin is one of the strongest sport climbers in the world. His father Novato is perhaps the strongest 62 year-old anywhere. It was only a matter of time before they joined forces for a project. 

The father and son team decided to take on the Alex Huber’s 2007 route Pan Aroma 5.14b on one of the Tre cime di Lavaredo peaks in the Dolomites. Pan Aroma towers among the hardest big wall routes in the world, especially given that some of the holds on one of the 5.14a pitches have broken and nobody has sent it since.
