Watch An Ascent of the Classic Beyond Good and Evil

Beyond Good and Evil is a classic mixed winter route on Les Pelerins in Chamonix that was first climbed over two decades ago.

First climbed by Mark Twight and Andy Parkin, the name was inspired by the famous Friedrich Nietzsche quote, “In the house of pain, we were chained together searching for our truth, beyond good and evil.”

Watch as François Damilano and François Marsigny repeat the thin mixed route in good conditions.
