Watch Some Climbing in Terrace, B.C.
Northwest British Columbia has unlimited undeveloped and often completely untouched rock.
If you’ve ever driven from Terrace to Prince Rupert there are dozens of 200 metre walls and countless smaller bluffs, most of at least some potential for climbing.
Copper Mountain is a kilometre long and hundreds of metres high with only a dozen routes. The wall above the Exchamskis River is 250 metres with only a few short lines.
Split Mountain offers some true big wall climbing on cliffs up to 500 metres, which awaits a hard route. So, if you’re looking for adventurous new routing, head to Terrace.
