Watch Carlos Logroño on 5.14 Crack Freeing in Spain

In September 2017, Carlos Logroño aka ‘Citro’ freed La fuerza de la Gravedad, an A2 roof crack route at Vadiello, Spain.

The first ascent was by Jandro Lorés and Logroño proposed the free grade as 8b+ (5.14a).

“There was this move in the middle that was driving me mad,” said Logroño. “Sometimes I could do it, other times I couldn’t. At times I could do it after just 10 tries.

“And then one day I found a solution and I could put everything together.”

The steep route climbs cracks through a massive roof, has a few dynamic moves and one funky hands-free rest. Watch the send below.
