Watch Fastest Climb up The Nose in Yosemite

In October 2017, Brad Gobright and Jim Reynolds set a new speed record on The Nose at 2:19:44.

They had attempted it 10 times before they beat the previous record set by Alex Honnold and Hans Florine. The first ascent was back in 1958 and took nearly 50 days over a few seasons.

Gobright and Reynolds had to employ wild speed-climbing techniques to set the new record.

On much of the climb, their simul-climbing, which is a dangerous techniques that takes years to perfect.
