Alex Megos Sends New V12 at Ontario’s Niagara Glen

It was his first trip to the popular bouldering area

Alex Megos recently made his first visit to Ontario’s Niagara Glen south of Toronto. Megos wasted no time in repeating one of the area’s hardest problems and established two new V12s.

The Glen features climbs ranging from V0 to V12 and is the oldest bouldering area in Ontario. With multiple projects still unsent, local crews were excited to see what the German power-house would put down in a single day. After repeating The Punt V12 and Karasu V12, Megos made the first ascents of Phoenix from the Ashes V12 and Bruce Lee V12. Watch a short film below by Cisco Juanes and Ethan Salvo.

High stoke and cold winds made for great conditions this Saturday. With temperatures dropping and friction increasing, the psych only grows in the Niagara Escarpment. Megos was in Toronto on tour with his new film Rotphunkt, watch the trailer here.
